The house has a cross gable roof system covered with composition roofing and a concrete foundation with a full basement. The rectangular building measures 46' x 37'. Exterior walls are sided with wood shingles. Significant structural changes in 1985 have compromised the historic architectural character of the building. It does not contribute to the architectural and historic unity of the neighborhood is a noncontributing structure within the Chicken Ridge Historic District.
