APPLICATION DEADLINE IS: 11:59 PM FRIDAY, MAY 31, 2024 

Airport Board:

  • 2 seats for terms beginning July 1, 2024 and ending June 30, 2027

Docks & Harbors Board:

  • 2 seats for unexpired terms beginning Immediately and ending June 30, 2026
  • 3 seats for terms beginning July 1, 2024 and ending June 30, 2027

Eaglecrest Board: 

  • 1 seat for an unexpired term beginning May 1, 2024 and ending June 30, 2025
  • 2 seats for terms beginning July 1, 2024 and ending June 30, 2027

June 10, 11, 25 & 26 are placeholder dates for the full Assembly as HRC to hold interviews for the above Empowered Board seats, the HRC will set final dates at its May 13, 2024 meeting.

You are welcome to apply for a seat on a board/committee that you are interested in even if no vacancy on that board/committee is listed – your application will be on file for a year from date of submission.

Appointments to CBJ Boards are considered by the Assembly Human Resources Committee (HRC) at its monthly meeting held the same Monday as the Assembly meetings at 6:00p.m. (unless otherwise noted).  The HRC does not meet in October due to Assembly reorganization following the annual election.  Empowered Board appointments are made at separate meetings with the full Assembly sitting as the Human Resources Committee.
