This building is composed of three distinct sections. It has a concrete foundation and is sided with wood shingles. It features a one-story, wood frame, front gabled section with side shed addition and a two-story, gabled section intersected by a one-and-one-half story gabled section.
Historical InformationGuy McNaughton arrived in Juneau in 1903 and worked for B.M. Behrends Bank and Behrends Company until his death in 1939. He was an active sportsman and member of the Juneau Shotgun Club. McNaughton served on the Juneau City Council and the School Board. He and members of his family owned the houses from 1913 until 1940.
