This is a one-and-one-half story, wood frame structure. It has a moderate pitch gabled roof and a concrete foundation. It is sided with wood shingles. It also features a full width partially enclosed front porch with a hip roof.
Historical InformationKoehler and James, Juneau merchants, owned Lot 8 and houses as early as 1901. George F. Miller, proprietor of Circle City Hotel, owned the northeast 80 feet and two buildings on Lot 8 from circa 1910 to 1924. Elizabeth Miller Clark sold property to James Gillen, a miner, in 1925. Gillen sold the property to Margret Roden in 1936.
