General Description

This was a one-story low pitched side gable roofed wood frame structure. It has a concrete foundation. It has been significantly altered and currently has a metal gable roof.

Historical Information

Property owned in 1901 by J. J. Beattie, Juneau?s first tax assessor. Home of Dr. and Mrs. E. H. Kaser from 1910-1940s. Vera Land Kaser came to Juneau to work as a nurse at Dr. Simpson?s hospital until the Kasers were married in May 1907. Dr. Kaser was in practice for many years with Dr. Freeburger in the Blomberg Building.
