Additional Information
This is a one-and-one-half story wood frame structure with a steep pitch gabled front and large shed dormer. It has a concrete foundation and is sided with wood shingles. It also features a hip roof over a full width partially enclosed front porch. The structure contains modest Craftsman style design references seen in the gable front and hip roofed porch as well as Queen Ann tracery detailing along the gable rake. The structure appears to have altered over time as reflected in the eclectic architectural character.
Historical InformationOwned by Alvin Goldstein from 1914-1923. Alvin was a member of the Goldstein family, a merchant family who played a vital role in Juneau?s early economy. Charles and Aline Warner were also associated with the property. Charles owned a machine shop and served on the City Council.
