General Description

This is a three-story wood frame structure with hip roof and widely overhanging eaves. It has a concrete foundation and is sided with wood shingles. It features a gable roofed entry porch and a variety of window types.

Historical Information

William and Johanna Jensen bought the property in 1911 and were owners for many years. William was living in Juneau by 1909. He worked as a tinner for the C.W. Young Company until at least 1924. By 1928 he owned his own plumbing shop. It appears that 305 Sixth Street used as apartments by 1921.
