The building is a one-and-one-half story structure with a moderate pitch gable front roof. It is wood frame with a full basement, concrete foundation. It is sided with horizontal wood lap siding. The structure features small enclosed gable roofed entry porches on front and back as well as a small shed roofed enclosed porch on one side, and double hung windows.
Historical InformationJ.E. Conner was born in New York in 1862. His wife Fannie was born in 1871 in Illinois. They were living in Juneau by 1910. Conner worked as the school janitor for a number of years. The property was bought in 1927 and the house was probably built the same year. By 1936 the Conners were using their home as a boarding house.
