The house measures 24? x 37?. It is a two-story wood frame structure with low pitch hip roof. It has a full basement, concrete foundation. Features include wide overhanging eaves with exposed rafters, stacked bay windows on the Main Street elevation covered by a roof extension.
Historical InformationThe First National Bank of Juneau acquired this lot (Lot 1) after owner C.M. Summers, a Juneau banker, was convicted of embezzlement in 1911. Attorney, John B. Marshall purchased the land in 1912 and constructed the house and flats in 1914. He worked in both private and public law practice in Juneau from 1911-1930.
