General Description

The two-story building is 40'x94. It has a wood piling and concrete foundation and a flat roof. The front facade has irregularly-spaced double hung windows with clerestory windows and a wood frame storefront. In the 1970s, the owners added a stone facade on the storefront. The original cornice and decorative wood brackets are still in place. The original canopy has been replaced.

Historical Information

An early structure in Juneau's dock area and red light district, the Crystal Palace was a popular bar and music hall.
