This triangular-shaped, three-story concrete building with stucco overlay measures approximately 100' x 100'. The roof is flat. The building has double hung windows with transom windows above the sidewalk canopy. The storefront includes decorative tile. A vertical band of angled bricks between the second and third floors adds a decorative element. The building has been minimally altered since its construction.
Historical InformationConstructed in 1928-29 for N.G. Nelson. The Triangle Building is located on the site of several smaller commercial structures, including the site of a Winter and Pond Company office. The building had offices on the upper floors and retail space at street level. The retail space has housed men's and women's apparel stores, shoe stores, the Triangle Cleaners, Harry Race Drug Store and a beauty parlor.
