In concert with the State of Alaska’s March 13 COVID-19 Health Mandate, Parks & Recreation is closing some public facilities – Augustus Brown Pool, Dimond Park Aquatic Center, Mount Jumbo Gym, and Zach Gordon Youth Center – and suspending programs – Coed Volleyball, Senior Open Gym, BAM Afterschool, and Start Smart. The CBJ closures and suspensions are effective starting Monday, March 16, and will last until further notice. BAM Middle School X-Country Running Club
Our season will run Monday, September 28 through Friday October 23. Practices will take place Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 3:15-4:30pm. There are three locations for families to choose from: the downtown turf (next to JDHS); Dzantik’i Heeni Middle school; and Floyd Dryden Middle school.

Family Activities
BAM Family nights are free to all middle school families. We believe in quality time together as a family and encourage bringing the whole family.
All family nights are free, fun and include a free meal. Students must be accompanied by a caring adult.
