Douglas After-School Activities
Douglas After-School Activities
The Zach Gordon Youth Center offers two free after-school programs in the Cedar Park and Geneva Woods neighborhoods for children ages 6–12 who live there. Each program provides a safe, fun, and supportive place for kids to spend their afternoons, with healthy snacks and activities such as cooking, arts and crafts, games, and field trips.
Older siblings ages 13–14 are encouraged to participate as helpers and mentors, building leadership skills while supporting younger participants. Families are also invited to come together each month for special family nights at both locations.
Douglas After-School Activities at Geneva Woods and Cedar Park are in partnership with Alaska Housing Finance Corporation.
