Eagle Valley Center Bridge Over Peterson Creek
Budget: $30,000
Contractor: Trail Mix, Inc.
Estimated Completion: 11/30/2021
Project Overview
The old raised walkway that crossed Peterson Creek Slough at the Eagle Valley Center has been replaced 50 feet downstream with a new bridge. This new bridge is constructed of steel pilings, with a treated lumber raised walkway and railing.
Access to the new bridge is at the small parking lot just before you reach the EVC Lodge. The bridge connects to the Amalga Trail System, which accesses the Challenge Course, Kayak Beach, Amalga Cabin, Eagle Landing, and the Horse Tram Trail.
Additional work to improve the grade and drainage of the trail access from the parking lot is scheduled for summer 2022.
