Family Fun Nights at the Field House

CBJ Parks & Recreation will host Family Fun Nights at the Dimond Park Field House on select Fridays throughout the fall. This free program gives young children a safe indoor space to run and play as daylight shortens and fall weather sets in. Family Fun Nights take place from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on September 12 and 26, October 10 and 24, November 7, and December 5. On October 10, Juneau Public Health will also be on site with an informational booth. This event is designed for children ages 0–6 with a parent or guardian, and older siblings may not attend. Toys will be available, no registration is required, and families are encouraged to simply bring their energy and join the fun. Please note that Family Fun Night does not include track access.

Dimond Park Field House Fall Track Hours & Programs

Beginning today, October 1, the Dimond Park Field House is on fall hours and bringing back popular programs. Track hours are Monday–Friday 9 a.m.–1 p.m. & 5–9 p.m., Saturday 9:30–11:30 a.m. & 4:30–8:30 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m.–9 p.m. (check bit.ly/DPFHcalendar for updates). Chair Yoga returns October 4 on Saturdays from 11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. (drop-in only). Open Turf is Mondays and Wednesdays from 3–5 p.m., open to all ages. Rentals are available through February, though October and November parties are full. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for seniors/youth. Elevator construction at Dimond Park Field House

On June 2, the Dimond Park Field House began a major upgrade with the installation of a new elevator. Construction is now expected to be completed by the end of November. Open Turf, Chair Yoga, and Private Party Rentals have resumed, and the mezzanine, batting cage, and indoor track are open to the public.
