Complete do-it-yourself activities, use the Passport to Play for free admission to Parks & Rec facilities, join the in-person events, or do it all during the Month of Play August 1-30! Movie in the Park | August 2

We are kicking off the annual Month of Play with a free Movie in the Park! Shrek (PG) is coming to the Dimond Park Field House on Friday, August 2. Show time is 5:30 p.m. and the doors open 15 minutes prior. Tickets for the Month of Play prize drawing on August 30 will be handed out at the door and Passports to Play outlining more great activities will be available for pick up. For those with special needs, a sensory-friendly showing will be available at 2:30 p.m.

Adjusted Hours During Summer Day Camps

Dimond Park Field House will close to the public one hour early while Parks & Recreation summer day camps take place throughout the summer. Both the Field House track and Turf for Tots will be open from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the following dates:

• May 28-31
• June 17-21
• July 8-12
• August 5-9

Chair Yoga

Chair yoga classes are offered at Dimond Park Aquatic Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Classes are from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and general admission rates apply.

Class on May 28 and 30, June 18 and 20, July 9 and 11, and August 6 and 8 will take place at the Field House while the pool hosts summer camp. Field House and Pool Passes are accepted at their respective facilities.

Saturday class at the Field House is on a summer break and will return in the Fall.
