Kaxdigoowu Heen Dei Closed | September 25 - 30
Kaxdigoowu Heen Dei will be partially closed starting on September 25, through Wednesday, September 30, for critical repairs to the Dimond Park Footbridge. For public safety, the trail is closed from the Dimond Park Footbridge to the Equestrian Trail (located at the end of Wildmeadow Lane) until construction ends. The trailhead to the meadow will remain open. Read the full release here.
Now Hiring | DPFH Recreation Worker II
If you like working independently in a fun environment, we are looking for two Recreation Workers to help operate the Dimond Park Field House! You would oversee daily operation and upkeep of the facility on evenings and weekends. We are looking for someone who has great customer service skills and enjoys working with the public. Family Fun Night | September 25
Family Fun Night is at the Dimond Park Field House on September 25, from 5 to 6:30 p.m.! In partnership with Southeast Childhood Collective, this free event is held on select Fridays. It's a great opportunity for children ages 0-6 to run and play indoors as daylight hours shorten and cooler weather sets in. There will be a variety of toys set up, and no registration is required! Please note that track access is not included, and older siblings are not permitted.
Pickleball at Floyd Dryden Gym
Open Pickleball at the Floyd Dryden Gym is from September 8 through April 30, 2027. It is held from 12 to 3 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 3 to 6 p.m. on Saturdays. The cost is $6/adult and $4/senior.
New Hours for Open Turf
Beginning on Monday, August 24, Open Turf at the Dimond Park Field House will change from its previous time of 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. and will now be held from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays. View the full DPFH schedule here.
