Project Overview

Homestead Park, located near the intersection of David Street and 3rd Street in Douglas, will undergo a number of improvements including replacements to the elevated wooden platforms, walkways, and stairs. The project began with an open house in May 2024 to gather input from community members and offer an opportunity to learn more about the project design and ask questions.

This project is funded with marine passenger fees. Construction is set to begin on Monday, January 13.
