Project Overview

In summer 2023, CBJ Parks & Recreation and Corvus Design invited the community to a barbeque and public meeting at Sigoowu Ye Park (Fun Place Park) to share ideas for improving this well-loved Lemon Creek park. With the help of public input, the project team finalized a design focused on enhancing play, safety, and accessibility for all ages.

As of June 5, 2025, construction is underway at Sigoowu Ye Park. The park is currently closed as we begin a major renovation that includes brand new playground equipment, upgraded pathways, improved landscaping, and enhanced lighting throughout the site. These improvements are a direct result of the feedback we received from the community. We appreciate the public’s patience as we work to improve this valued community space.

Construction Timeline:

  • Start Date: June 5, 2025
