Waiver and Release for participation: I recognize the activity, Month of Play Scavenger Hunt, for which I am registering, involves risk of damage, loss and personal injury, and I acknowledge and accept all risks, hazards, and dangers associated with this activity. I, as well as my heirs, executors, administrators and assigns (collectively “Releasing Parties”), waive and release the City and Borough of Juneau, its departments, officers, agents, servants, employees, elected officials, and lessors (collectively “CBJ”) from any and all liability, claims, demands or actions or causes of actions whatsoever arising out of any damage, loss, or personal injury suffered or sustained by me, known or unknown, including but not limited to physical or mental injury, property damage, and wrongful death, that I may have against CBJ in relation to my participation, including those caused by the negligence of CBJ, unless my injuries, damages, or death is caused by the gross negligence of CBJ. By agreeing to the Terms of Service, I intend to release CBJ from liability with respect to any damages or injuries caused by my participation. I further agree to defend and indemnify CBJ from and against all such claims or suits. I have had sufficient opportunity to read this document and I have read it, understand it, and I agree to be bound by these terms. I acknowledge that I am participating voluntarily and I am assuming the sole risk and full responsibility for any injuries, damages, or losses suffered by myself or in connection with the activity.
