R4 Reverse Coed Volleyball Tournament

Reverse Coed Rules

Men attack from behind the 3m/10’ line only, contact with the 3m/10’ line is a sideout.
If men are within the 3m/10’ line, they cannot jump. The ball must be put over the net with an upward trajectory, i.e., a bump.
When more than one offensive play is made, at least one contact must be by a male player.
A block does not count as an offensive play.
Men cannot block.
Women play/attack from front or back.
Serving order – male, female, male, and so on.
No open-handed tips.
Roll shots, knuckles, closed fists, and Cobra are allowed.
Let serves are permitted.
Setting over the net is permitted.
All other standard indoor volleyball rules apply.

4 players per team, no substitutions, players must be 15 at time of tournament.
$100/team.
16 teams maximum.
Registration opens December 2. Registration closes at 4:30pm on December 20, 2019.
All games at Dzantik’i Heeni Middle School, first game at 9:00am.
Tournament style will include pool play plus a single-elimination bracket. Final format will depend on number of teams registered.
Schedule will be emailed to managers and posted online by Tuesday, December 31, 2019.
Prizes for 1^st place: Player Registration Fee for each player for any 2020 P&R volleyball season. (Value: $45 per player)
