| Full Description | Join David Woodie at the City Museum on August 11 at 7:00 pm for a slide show and talk about his approach to narrative painting and his new exhibit, New Work. Woodie will discuss influences from periods in the history of narrative painting that have been personal and primary influences on his work. Selections from the history of narrative painting will include late Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque eras; late 19th and early 20th century painting including the influence of Modernism, Surrealism, and contemporary approaches. 'New Work' will be on exhibit at the City Museum until October 29, 2016. |
