Juneau Pandemic Artworks

Featured Artist: Pua Maunau

In this video, painter Puanani Maunau discusses her CBJ COVID-19 ArtWorks grant project, Seasons of Covid, Chaos and String Theory. The Juneau ArtWorks grant program was established to fund artists put in a vulnerable position due to the COVID-19 pandemic in creating works of art in any genre that would provide lasting documentation of the COVID-19 pandemic and its effect on the Juneau community. ArtWorks ultimately assisted 135 Juneau artists in creating 34 works of art. See the complete gallery at jahc.org/juneau-cares-artworks.
