Lots of fun things are happening at the City Museum during First Friday on October 4th!
Our summer exhibition, Yéil Koowú Átx'i Khaa Sháade Nákhx'i Yán Sákw Jeeyís: Ravenstail Regalia for Future Leaders, is still on display through October 19th. So, if you haven’t seen it yet, or want to see it again, now’s your chance!
Also, we will have some very cool vintage items for sale in the museum store including glass bottles, Juneau Volunteer Fire Department 100-year commemorative belt buckles, and salmon derby pins. And for the rockhounds, we will have some in-the-rough garnets and other local rocks for sale.
And that’s not all! Because Halloween is right around the corner, we have a variety of sturdy white DIY art masks you can take home to paint or decorate free of charge. You can keep the mask or put it in our Free Little Art Gallery to make someone’s day.
