Juneau Modern Quilt Guild Presentation | Saturday, February 3rd from 10:30am to noon
Join us at the City Museum for a hot drink and a presentation by members of the Juneau Modern Quilt Guild! Quilters will discuss the definition of modern quilting and where one can find artistic inspiration for their own artwork. Using their exhibition as an example, they will discuss how inspiration can come from many sources and how, at times, a creative exercise or prompt may provide a jumping-off point without knowing what the end-product will be. During the presentation, participants will have the opportunity to create an original piece of art to “keep as a reminder that we all have the potential to produce unique visual treasures.”
