Chair Yoga at DPAC
Chair yoga classes are offered at Dimond Park Aquatic Center on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. General admission rates apply, and Pool Passes are accepted. Due to the popularity of the class and limited space, pre-registration is now required for classes at DPAC. Registration opens each Friday at noon for the following week’s classes. On the day of class, check in at the front desk to pay or scan your pass before heading to the event room. For up-to-date event information, see the DPAC schedule.
Healthy Bones Aquatic Fitness Class
Augustus G. Brown Swimming Pool is rolling out a new aquatic fitness class! Starting March 4, stop by the pool on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. for an all-ages class designed to provide a gentle yet-effective workout for those seeking to improve strength and joint care. Through low-impact exercises in the water, participants will engage in movements that strengthen muscles, enhance flexibility, and reduce joint stress. The buoyancy of the water provides a safe and supportive environment, making it ideal for individuals with arthritis or those looking to prevent bone density loss. The class emphasizes posture, coordination, and overall mobility to help boost confidence and prevent falls. No registration is required—just show up with your swimsuit, towel, and water shoes (optional but recommended!). Regular pool admission applies, and pool passes are accepted.
