Start Date2017-06-17
End Date2017-06-17
Full Description

Starting in June, The Juneau-Douglas City Museum will be hosting Family Days once a month through September. Adults with children will receive free admission, and there will be a free drop-in activity suitable for children ages 5-10. For June, we will be reading the picture book \"A Place Where Sunflowers Grow\" and learning how to make origami. After the activity, children and parents can view Fumi Matsumoto?s artwork in the entryway display case and see how she incorporates origami and other Japanese art forms into her pieces.
