| Full Description | Marjorie Bryhn's painting Women of Juneau (JDCM 81.01.001) is the inspiration for this program, happening during Women's History Month. Marie Darlin and an assembled cast of people who have personal connections to many of the women depicted in the painting will share with us the stories of these significant women from Juneau's history. Depicted in the painting are: Nellie Willard, Grace Wickersham, Sister Mary Luca, Mrs. Claude Ericson, Mary John, Maria Hendrickson, Jeanne Renshaw, Alphonsine Carter, Anna Goldstein, Mary Joyce, Crystal Snow Jenne, Marie Drake, Bessie Quinto, Virginia Behrends, Mrs. Kostrometinoff, and Carol Beery Davis. |
