Full Description

Jim Geraghty, Sandy Harbanuk and Mark Whitman, all knowledgeable and passionate researchers of Juneau history, will sit together on a panel we're calling \"History Research for Dummies\". Whether you want to find original photos of your 100 year old house, need to do a research paper for school or have a more ambitious exploration in mind, these folks can help steer you in interesting and, hopefully, fruitful directions as well as instruct about protocols for things like photo attribution. Jim, Sandy and Mark will be sharing some of the resources available to all, teaching some \"tricks of the trade\", and will tell stories of discoveries, dead ends, and eureka moments. This is the perfect opportunity to kick start plans for a project that could be funded with help from the Juneau History Grant.

As usual, our sponsor, Heritage Coffee, will supply us with plenty of hot coffee and there will be tea, too.
