On Friday, April 7^th from 4:00-7pm, the City Museum will be open for First Friday. On display will be a new exhibition titled, Inspired by Ice: Descriptions & Interpretations of Southeast Alaskan Glaciers. This exhibition includes a selection of paintings and historic photographs from the museum’s collection that relate to glaciers in Southeast Alaska. Also on display (until April 14^th) is Opposites the 19^th Annual 12x12 Community Art Exhibition. Refreshments will be provided and live music will be performed by local music students and music teachers. This is a free event.
