April First Friday: Live Music, Community Art, and a New Exhibition

On Friday, April 7th from 4:00-7pm, the City Museum will be open for First Friday. On display will be a new exhibition titled, Inspired by Ice: Descriptions & Interpretations of Southeast Alaskan Glaciers. This exhibition includes a selection of paintings and historic photographs from the museum’s collection that relate to glaciers in Southeast Alaska. Also on display (until April 14th) is Opposites the 19th Annual 12x12 Community Art Exhibition. Refreshments will be provided and live music will be performed by local music students and music teachers. This is a free event.
