    • Has working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel.
    • Has working knowledge of using social media databases for information concerning past and potential crime and events.
    • Has knowledge of practices and principles of work flow, systems analysis, record keeping systems, project management, municipal records retention procedures, public disclosure, and confidentiality standards.

 

WHAT IS IT LIKE TO WORK ON OUR TEAM
As an Investigations Support Specialist for the Juneau Police Department, you will be a member of a multi-jurisdictional drug task force for southeast Alaska. This position will enjoy numerous training opportunities, impactful work with real-time results, and the ability to establish partnerships and working relationships throughout Alaska's law enforcement community, and other state, local, and federal departments. JPD has a strong friendly atmosphere while maintaining professionalism. JPD offers a fitness room and is centrally located in Lemon Creek with free off-street parking.

WORKING HOURS AND LOCATION
This position works Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Your office would be located at the Juneau Police Department in the Lemon Creek area.
