For active volunteers looking to become entry level qualified, enrollment for the 2024 Firefighter 1 Academy is now open. All Firefighter Academy students must be active CCF/R volunteers.
To learn more about becoming a volunteer with CCF/R, please visit the CCF/R Volunteer Program page. As a volunteer, you will be eligible to enter the Firefighter 1 course. Please allow an additional 1-2 weeks to complete Volunteer Program registration process prior to enrolling in Firefighter Academy.

Pre-Course Work
Prior to class, the following Incident Command System (ICS) courses must be completed. These courses ensure the student has a foundational understanding of ICS Operations to build from in class.
