Apply for a Fourth of July vendor spot at Savikko Park starting June 1

The City and Borough of Juneau Parks & Recreation Department will start accepting vending permit applications for Fourth of July festivities at Savikko Park on Tuesday, June 1 at 8 a.m. All permits are issued on a first-come, first-serve basis. The deadline to apply is June 21 at 4:30 p.m. Learn more on the Parks & Recreation Vending Permits webpage.

There will be 10 food vending locations this year to allow more distance between people. See a map of the new vending locations here. In addition to the vending application, applicants must also complete a COVID-19 mitigation form, plus all applicable attachments.

Currently, Fourth of July festivities at Savikko Park are planned, though that could change if Juneau’s COVID-19 Community Risk Level were to elevate to Level 3 High.

Again, Fourth of July vending permit applications are due no later than 4:30 p.m. on June 21. Applications and related material should be emailed to Recreation Supervisor Dave Pusich at [email protected].
