Snow Removal Schedule- January 2026

Snow removal operations are planned for the locations listed below; however, schedules are subject to change due to weather conditions and unforeseen circumstances. Not all areas may be completed as planned, and daily adjustments should be expected. We encourage residents to check back each day for the most up-to-date information.

To support safe and efficient operations, affected streets will be posted with yellow “NO PARKING” signs. Please remove all vehicles from the roadway during the dates and times indicated and avoid driving through these areas while snow removal is underway. Vehicles left in the right-of-way or traveling through active work zones create hazardous conditions for both the public and our crews and significantly slow progress.

Vehicles not moved will be ticketed and towed to the Zach Gordon Youth Center.

Please drive safely, remain alert for snow removal equipment, and thank you for your cooperation as crews work to improve road conditions.

Snow Removal Operations Update – 

Due to warming temperatures, the City and Borough of Juneau Streets Maintenance Division will be temporarily holding all snow removal operations until further notice.

This pause is necessary to ensure safe and effective operations under current conditions. Crews will continue to monitor weather and roadway conditions closely.

Please check back regularly for updates as conditions change and operations resume. Thank you for your understanding.
