Over the 14-day period from May 3 to May 16, there were 29 people in Juneau who tested positive for COVID-19 (that’s down from 38 during the previous two weeks):

  • 24 percent of the cases were associated with a cluster that was a result of a small party. There are nine identified cases within that cluster.

  • 100 percent of cases were contacted for contact tracing within 24 hours of a positive test being returned.
  • Disease spread is proportionally higher among individuals under the age of 19 and less prevalent in those over the age of 60.
