CBJ reports one new COVID-19 case in Juneau

The City and Borough of Juneau Emergency Operations Center is reporting one new resident identified with COVID-19 in Juneau. Public Health attributes the case to community spread. The small party cluster remains at nine cases, now with seven recovered.

Cumulatively, Juneau has had 1,326 residents test positive for COVID-19 and 161 nonresidents. There are nine active cases in Juneau and 1,473 individuals have recovered. All individuals with active cases of COVID-19 are in isolation. There is currently one person with COVID-19 hospitalized at Bartlett Regional Hospital.

Statewide, the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services reports 78 new residents identified with COVID-19. Alaska has had 67,043 cumulative resident cases of COVID-19 and a total of 2,792 nonresidents.
