See latest designs for Jackie Renninger skate park at February 11 meeting

January 28, 2025 – News

Looking forward to the new skate park at Jackie Renninger? The conceptual master plan for Jackie Renninger Park is now complete, thanks to public involvement guiding the process to meet neighborhood and community needs. The next step is the conceptual design for a new skate plaza and covered skate park. If you’re a skater or skate park user, CBJ wants to hear from you about skate park planning!

CBJ, Corvus Design, and New Line Skatepark are hosting a skate park meeting on Tuesday, February 11 from 6 – 7:30 p.m. at the Mendenhall Valley Library. Join the meeting to see the latest conceptual designs and share your feedback on what you want to see in the skate park.

Although in-person participation is the best option to see and discuss the designs, you can also join the meeting over Zoom at bit.ly/SkateParkMtg.

Corvus Design and New Line Skatepark will use this feedback as they finalize the skate park’s conceptual layout.

The redesign of Pipeline Skate Park, which will include structural and safety improvements, is part of a new Jackie Renninger Park Master Plan. The conceptual park plan includes eight new pickleball courts, a new playground, day-use shelters, a dog park, looped walking trail, multi-court, disc-golf, restrooms, the skate park, and other amenities to meet the needs of the lower Mendenhall Valley neighborhood and the larger community.

Visit the Jackie Renninger Master Plan project page to see previous presentations, designs, and project information.
