Regular Planning Commission meets November 14, 2023. Here’s how to weigh in.

The Regular Planning Commission meets Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at 7:00 P.M. in the Assembly Chambers. This meeting will be a hybrid meeting held both in person and via Zoom Webinar link, and will be to discuss a Conditional Use Permit for commercial boat storage and van parking on Cohen Drive.

This hybrid meeting will be held in person and by remote participation. Douglas Indian Association has submitted three related applications for review by the Planning Commission.  All applications apply to the site at the end of St. Ann’s Avenue on Douglas.

Conditional Use Permit (USE2023 0013)

Conditional Use Permit to allow up to 4,000 square feet for a culture and learning center, focusing on language and traditional food with up to 1,000 square feet covered outdoor area.

Variance (VAR2023 0002)

Variance to allow nine (9) off-street backout parking spaces for a learning facility.

Parking Waiver Permit (PWP2023 0003)

Parking Waiver Permit to reduce required off-street parking from six (6) spaces to five (5).
