Start Smart Basketball will run once a week from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. starting in January for six weeks. In December, Parks & Recreation will release the location and session dates to registered participants. The Start Smart program is for ages 3-4 year olds (participants must be 3 by the first session). Children work with an adult in their lives in a supportive environment to learn the basic skills of basketball: dribbling, passing, shooting, and agility. Adults are active participants in the program.
