Candy Cane Hunt: Explore downtown & support local businesses

Explore Downtown Juneau with members of your household, support local businesses, and win prizes this holiday season in CBJ Parks & Recreation’s Candy Cane Hunt. This activity is for both kids and adults. Print or download a Candy Cane Tracker here, then head downtown December 1 – 19 to find the printed candy cane numbers in the store windows. To be eligible for prizes, find at least five candy cane numbers and submit your Candy Cane Tracker by noon on December 20.

Some businesses are offering specials for Candy Cane Hunt participants, like a discount or a free item with a purchase. Look for a list of the specials on the back of the tracker and show your tracker at the business to get the incentive. Masks must be worn inside businesses.

Parks & Recreation will hold a drawing for prizes on Tuesday, December 21, and winners will be notified by phone/email and announced on Juneau Parks & Recreation’s Facebook page. Downtown businesses have donated prizes for all ages.

If you don’t have access to a printer, email [email protected] with your mailing address and how many trackers you need. Trackers are also available in the entrance of City Hall, Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

For more information, call Parks & Recreation at 907-586-5226, or go to the Candy Cane Hunt website or the Facebook Event.
