Permit Center closing on Fridays starting October 22

The Community Development Department (CDD) will be closing the Permit Center to in-person services on Fridays starting October 22, 2021. CDD has determined this is the best way to address a high influx of permits, combined with staffing shortages, in order to process permits in a timely manner. Members of the public can still schedule inspections by phone. Inspections will continue to occur as scheduled.

For more information on permit applications and online submittals, please visit the CDD website at juneau.org/community-development/permit-application.

Permit Center staff will advise you when its processes return to “business as usual”.

For more information, contact the Community Development Department at 907-586-0715.
