Special Assembly Meeting Wednesday, June 3 at 6 p.m. regarding COVID-19 including discussion of travel quarantine
A Special Assembly Meeting focusing on COVID-19 issues will be held on Wednesday, June 3 at 6 p.m. The Assembly will have an opportunity to speak with Alaska Chief Medical Officer Dr. Anne Zink and Department of Health and Social Services Commissioner Adam Crum. The Assembly will also take up consideration of Emergency Ordinance 2020-27, An Emergency Ordinance Ordering People to Quarantine When Travelling into the City and Borough of Juneau from Another State or Country, which was continued following the close of public testimony at its special meeting on Monday, June 1. This meeting will be conducted as a virtual meeting only. Read the agenda here.
