Youth Outdoor Soccer
Outdoor Soccer for kids ages 5 to 14 begins with early bird registration, which runs through May 19 and costs $55 plus tax. From May 20 onward, registration cost increases to $65 plus tax.
The season runs for 8 weeks from July through August. Generally, kids will practice one night a week, Monday through Thursday between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Games will take place on Saturdays between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
League play is for ages 5-14, with both a coed and a girls’ league. Each league will be broken into divisions by age and area. See the website for more details about divisions and practice locations.
Start Smart Soccer
Start Smart Soccer for children ages 3-4 years old (participants must be 3 by the first session) costs $40 plus tax, which includes a Start Smart tee shirt. Registration is first come, first served. All registrations received after the session is full will be placed on a waitlist.
This year, Start Smart Soccer will include two sessions with 25 spots each. The Downtown session will meet on Tuesday nights from 5:45 – 6:45 p.m. and the Valley session will meet on Saturday mornings from 9 – 10 a.m. Both sessions run from May 28 to July 6.
The Start Smart program lets children work with an adult in their lives in a supportive environment to learn the basic skills of soccer: kicking, dribbling, trapping, and agility. Adults are active participants in the program. For more information, visit the Start Smart website.
