Permit Center reopening on Fridays starting March 11

The City and Borough of Juneau’s Permit Center is returning to “business as usual” and will operate Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. effective Friday, March 11. The Permit Center, run by the Community Development Department (CDD), has been closed to in-person services on Fridays since October. The change comes as staff vacancies have been filled and COVID-19 cases decline in the Juneau area.

Both in-person and remote participation is available for pre-application meetings, which are available by appointment. Inspections are continuing as normal.

Visit the Community Development Department website for information on permit applications, plan submittals, and pre-application meetings. The public is welcome to do business with CBJ online, by email or phone, through mail or drop box.
