No new COVID-19 cases reported in Juneau

No new cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Juneau today. Cumulatively, Juneau has had 1,168 residents test positive for COVID-19 and 143 nonresidents. There are 15 active cases in Juneau and 1,291 individuals have recovered. All individuals with active cases of COVID-19 are in isolation. There is currently one person with COVID-19 hospitalized at Bartlett Regional Hospital. The cluster associated with the small Juneau business is at 11 individuals with 10 recovered.

Statewide, the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS) reports 238 new people identified with COVID-19 – 226 are residents and 12 are nonresidents. Alaska has had 57,677 cumulative resident cases of COVID-19 and a total of 2,480 nonresidents.

Vaccine information

According to DHSS, as well as data reported from the U.S. Coast Guard and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, 8,836 people in the Juneau region have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 7,020 are fully vaccinated.

Statewide, 183,859 people have received their first dose, according to DHSS, and 126,145 are fully vaccinated.
