Next COVID-19 vaccine clinic is March 23; registration opens Monday, March 15 at noon

March 11, 2021 – News

Juneau’s next COVID-19 vaccine clinic is March 23 (10 a.m. – 6 p.m.) at Centennial Hall. Vaccinations are by appointment only. Anyone age 16 and up who lives or works in Alaska can sign up. The clinic will distribute about 1,100 doses of the Pfizer vaccine.

Appointments can be made starting Monday, March 15, at 12 p.m. on juneau.org/vaccine. The public is encouraged to sign up online; those without internet can call 586-6000 to make an appointment starting March 15 at 12 p.m.

Important notes before making an appointment:

  • You must be available for a second dose at Centennial Hall April 13.
  • The clinic is for individuals age 16 and up who live or work in Alaska, and have physically been in the state for at least 5 days prior to March 23. If you have returned to the state within 5 days of the clinic dates, and therefore strict social distancing per CBJ ordinance, do not make an appointment. Strict social distancing cannot be maintained at the clinic.
  • If you signed up for the March 15-20 clinic waitlist, you are NOT automatically signed up for this March 23 clinic. You will need to make an appointment for the March 23 clinic to be guaranteed a vaccine. If you secure a March 23 appointment, please email [email protected] to be removed from the waitlist.
  • If you’re making an appointment on behalf of someone who doesn’t speak English, email [email protected] or call 586-6000 ahead of their clinic appointment so translation services can be arranged.

After checking in and getting the vaccine, you’ll be monitored for 15 minutes for any adverse reactions. Second-dose appointments for April 13 will be made at the clinic. Everyone is required to wear a mask.

The clinic is organized by Bartlett Regional Hospital, Central Council of the Tlingit and Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska, Juneau Public Health Center, SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium, and City and Borough of Juneau.
