Mayor Weldon meets with Cub Scouts

Juneau Mayor Beth Weldon met with Cub Scouts Pack 6, Den 5 Arrow of Light this past Monday evening. For a few of the fifth graders, it was their first time going to City Hall. The meeting was an opportunity to get a glimpse of how local government works and ask Mayor Weldon some questions, like:

• What is your favorite thing about being mayor?
• How long have you lived in Juneau?
• What meme or phrase do you always have stuck in your head?

By meeting with the Mayor, the scouts fulfilled a requirement for advancement and earned a “Building a Better World” pin.
