Learn about proposal for off road vehicle park at Feb. 9 public meeting

The City and Borough of Juneau Parks & Recreation Department and the Juneau Off-Road Association are holding a public meeting on Wednesday, February 9, at 5:30 p.m. via Zoom to discuss a proposal for an off road vehicle (ORV) park. The park would be located on CBJ-owned property approximately 35 miles out the road.

During the February 9 public meeting, Parks & Recreation and Juneau Off-Road Association will present information on the ongoing process to develop an ORV park in Juneau and the evaluation of the 35-mile site for the proposed park, and answer questions from the public. Parks & Recreation staff will also present information on upcoming public meetings and opportunities for public comment regarding the proposal.
