Installation of Healing Totem Pole near Twin Lakes fishing dock begins today

Compass Construction begins work today – Monday, April 25 – on installing a Healing Totem Pole adjacent to the fishing dock at Twin Lakes Park. The totem pole, carved by Master Tlingit Carver Wayne Price, and accompanying Eagle and Raven painted screens, will be part of the Kaasei Totem Plaza, a project sponsored by AWARE. Work will take approximately a month to complete.
