CBJ reports one new COVID-19 case in Juneau

The City and Borough of Juneau Emergency Operations Center is reporting one new resident identified with COVID-19 in Juneau. Public Health attributes the case to secondary transmission.
Cumulatively, Juneau has had 1,334 residents test positive for COVID-19 and 161 nonresidents. There are eight active cases in Juneau and 1,482 individuals have recovered. All individuals with active cases of COVID-19 are in isolation.
Statewide, the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS) reports 45 new individuals identified with COVID-19 – 43 are residents and two are nonresidents. Alaska has had 67,357 cumulative resident cases of COVID-19 and a total of 2,805 nonresidents.
