CBJ hosts free Housing & Development Forum Friday, Feb. 28
The City and Borough of Juneau Community Development Department will be hosting its annual Housing & Development Forum on Friday, February 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Elizabeth Peratrovich Hall. All members of the public are invited, including interested homeowners, builders, realtors, real estate developers, and mortgage lenders. Continuing Education Credits toward Residential Contractor Endorsements and Real Estate License Renewals may be earned by attending this event.
The forum includes presentations on topics like financing small homes, nonconforming development, historic tax credits, the impact of liens, an economic update, FEMA flood map updates, the heat pump retrofit program, accessory apartment changes, zoning updates, and more.
