UPDATED: 10th Street (Egan to Glacier) closed for construction starting June 4
10th Street will be closed between Egan Drive and Glacier Avenue for major improvements beginning Tuesday, June 4 until project work is complete. Construction is anticipated to last through the summer.
Improvements will include resurfacing the roadway after replacing sidewalks, streetlights, the main water line, and the sewer and storm systems. There will also be minor storm drain improvements at the intersection of West 8th & Glacier Avenue.
Construction on 8th & Glacier will occur late in the project window and closure of the intersection will be staggered to ensure that it does not overlap with the closure of 10th Street. Vehicle access to neighborhood business and residences will be maintained via at least one drive lane for the duration of the project.
Please refer to the attached project map for more information.
During construction, all vehicle through traffic and pedestrian walkways will be detoured around the project area. We kindly ask that you follow marked detours around the project for your safety and for the safety of those working in the area. We understand that this can be an inconvenience and appreciate your understanding and patience while we work to improve this important roadway.
